Training grounded in real‑world AI use cases, offering hands‑on exposure to emerging technologies and their implications for leadership, strategy, and organizational transformation.
From the outside, coaching can look deceptively calm — good conversations, meaningful insights, leaders walking away clearer and more confident. And it is all of those things. But it's also a serious discipline, built on a foundation that's often compared to study in psychology or organizational leadership. The credentialing process — through the ICF, CEC, EMCC, or similar bodies — involves rigorous training, supervision, and assessment. The preparation is demanding. The work that follows is worth every bit of it.
My experience with Private Company Governance, combined with my CEC Credentials, as well as my recent DeepLearning AI and Masters Class in AI certifications give me a powerful foundation to help clients create meaningful change. This isn’t theoretical learning — it’s hands‑on, real‑world training shaped by leaders and coaches who understand what actually works. With access to cutting‑edge tools, proven methodologies, and AI‑enhanced strategies, I’m able to help clients break through obstacles and move toward their goals with greater clarity and momentum.
I'm excited to help leaders and organizations develop the critical executive coaching skills needed to drive breakthrough results and develop exemplary skills.

There are several hurdles that many executives face, but one of my key combination of qualifications as a coach is having been an academic, a practicing attorney, and a business executive. Given the leadership roles that I occupied for thirteen years with Wachovia and after long careers as a senior academic at Duke and elsewhere, I bring a wide variety of experience to help guide and prepare my clients in specific fields, goals and career decisions.
It's important to remember however, that leadership is not always about formal education; it is the moral character and skill of the individual, as well as the experience. We don’t have to stretch our memories that far to know that the effects of poor leadership, and how many individuals with significant education and influence, can lead their organizations into collapse when integrity and sound judgment are absent.
By learning from my own successes and failures, and avoiding the pitfall of being typecast as a specialist in one area (and not letting this deter my other career choices), I can help emerging leaders avoid mistakes and weather the challenges of career transitions. Its important for today's leaders to understand that constant change can lead to positive outcomes. Coaching can help build resilient, forward-thinking skills.
